The Show In The Back

Krimson City seem to be ready to drown. The rain hadn’t let up for nearly a week…at least as far as Alice could remember. Each day felt the same honestly. Dark clouds had eaten up the sun and had no intention of spitting it out. Made the already gloomy city feel all the more depressing.

The one light at the end of this dark, deep, tunnel is Alice’s boss: Juli Kidman.

“Hey, wake up kid.” Said boss nudged Alice awake. Alice let out a mutter as she stirred up from slumber and sat up right in the car seat. Juli grunted and looked out of the window to try and find something to waste time looking at.

Alice just recalled that Sebastian just ditched the two in the back of his car. It’s a nice car, but the feeling of being a little kid forced to wait in the car for their parent to come back from doing an errand hung in the air. It didn’t help that Alice had been assigned to work with Juli only to learn that she was already working under Sebastian. So she became a sub-subordinate. Basically, the coffee-doughnut gopher.

Not that bad as it sounds. Juli did aspire to teach Alice, and keep her on the right track. It did mean a lot of paperwork, but it felt like good necessary paperwork. Like it actually mattered. Juli did promise Alice to take her to a crime scene.

But that lead to the two of them being stuck in a car while Sebastian did something. He didn’t exactly say. He just stopped them in front of some office building and went inside. Hopefully he wasn’t having a drink with the people inside…

“Hey, after this, you want to get a beer?” Juli asked as she leaned against a window and sighed. “Or do something to make up for this time lost here. I don’t many places…but I do know a bar on Novak.”

“Sounds good.” Alice sighed as she mindlessly looked out of the window and towards a light in the building. She started to imagine what sort of antics were going in that room. Sebastian had just been sucked into an alternate dimension of demons and had just grabbed a two-barreled shotgun to go crazy with. Sounded fun. Wading through bloody bodies and tripping over guts sounded fun.

“Hey rookie?” Juli nudged Alice. “Knowing Sea Bass, we’ll be here for another thirty minutes.” She wiggled in her seat. “And, no, we can’t leave the car. He took the keys with him, and as detectives, we can’t leave our car unlocked and alone.” She leaned back in the seat and stared at the roof. “Of course, we could have sex…”

“WOAH!”

“Just joking!” Juli held up her hands. “I’m not into having backseat sex. Not enough room. Still…” She let out haughty breath as she leaned against Alice. “These seats are comfortable, and I wouldn’t mind some 50s style smooching….”

“Smooching?” Alice questioned with a quivering lip.

“I know you have been looking at me.” Juli once again elbowed Alice. “With those cute puppy-dog eyes. Those long eyelashes. Those sparkly eyes.” Julie blew a kiss. “Trust me, I know you are interested in me.”

“I am not…” Alice muttered as she looked away. Juli giggled as she grabbed Alice’s chin with two fingers and a thumb, drawing the blonde girl in.

“A detective can see past any lies.” Juli whispered tenderly as she leaned in and kissed Alice on the lips. No tongue action as Alice feared, but just feeling those firm lips brush against her own sent Alice into a tizzy. Her head spun as it lit up like a fireworks factory being set on fire. Juli giggled from just a cursory glance at Alice’s face as it turned the darkest red she had ever seen a human go. “Geez, leave some blood for your heart to use for your body…” She pinched Alice on the cheek.

“Sebastian, please come back…” Alice muttered to herself.

In order to make Alice feel a bit safer around her, Juli opened the top part of her shirt to reveal her black lacey bra. Alice’s mouth hung open and nearly dropped down to the floor of the car. “Too much?” Juli asked with a haughty breath. Alice managed to call upon some lost willpower to bob her head up and down. “Too bad!” Juli cried out as she laid herself on top of Alice and started to repeatedly kiss her. “You are so kissable!”

Alice didn’t really respond as Juli played with her. She did want this, but she never expected to ever get it…let alone in a situation like this! But now, she got Juli all around to herself, both of them getting closer and closer to being naked in this nice car they’re about to stain all over it…

Sebastian arched his back as he finally strode out of the building, dropping the empty shotgun down on the pavement. Another good lead once more becoming an annoying time-wasting trap. Just wanting to go home and get a shower to clean off the dry blood, he almost opened the door when he noticed some unusual movement in the backseat.

Quickly recognizing the jumble of human parts as his two assistants, Sebastian decided to walk home. It wasn’t that far. He just wasn’t in the mood to go through the whole thing of explaining what happened and why the backseat of his car isn’t for lovemaking. They get one night of no rules and after this, they have to find their own form of transportation.
